Eastern Europe Vacation - 2005

Rothenburg, Germany
For our first (and last) full day at Rothenburg, we started out doing Rick Steve's Rothenburg Town Walk - taking us through the main square, Town Hall & Tower, Historical Town Hall Vaults, St. Jakob's Church, Reichstadt Museum, the Castle Garden, and even the Crime and Punishment Museum. We also went to Kathe Wohlfart's The Christmas Place - a store that specializes in Christmas decoration (Christmas is BIG in Germany).
We also did the Nightwatchman's Tour - very informative (and entertaining) of how life was like back in the town's medieval heyday.
