Finally, the party that took 9 years to plan is here! My original plan (9 years ago) was to have it at Disneyland Hotel - the same place where we got married; but most of the people we invited were up here in the LA area, so we decided to have it at our place.

Can you imagine - Mark almost gave up - shortly before he got his ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries). But once he got his ASA, it was only 2 more exams before he would get his FSA. Every time Mark considered stopping, I wouldn't let him because he was sooo close (besides - how else would I have time to quilt?)! Now, Mark has so much time on his hands that he can do the things he's always wanted to do - catch up on his Star Wars readings, read up on architecture, volunteer for various community services, etc...

Thanks to all those who helped make the party a blast! Special recognition goes to the Fang family - they made time to stop by despite having visitors of their own at their place! Special thanks goes to Ted Shickler for saving my chocolate fondue (now I know that cream doesn't go well with melted chocolate and that red wine is the secret!).
